1. Heard Sri S.K.Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri F.N. Ansari for the respondent no. 4 and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner has disputed seniority list of Junior Engineer ( Mechanical) Irrigation Department. It is admitted that final seniority list was published but said seniority list is not under challenge in the present writ petition. Moreover, persons against whom petitioner claims seniority are not parties to this writ petition. Therefore, in absence of any challenge to seniority list and the persons likely to be affected not impleaded as respondents, question of seniority cannot be examined by this court in writ jurisdiction, hence, no relief can be granted by quashing seniority list.
3. The writ petition is dismissed.
