Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner limited his prayer only to issue a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 16.3.2021 of the petitioner which is pending consideration.
Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in case such prayer is granted.
Regard being had to the facts and submissions, we direct Respondent No.2 to look into the matter and decide his representation dated 16.3.2021 by a reasoned order expeditiously.
It is further observed that till the matter is decided, the respondents are restrained to interfere in the possession of the petitioner over the disputed land in any manner.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter and it is open to the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
