Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is against the demand notice dated 19.7.2018/5.11.2018 whereby electricity dues have been demanded. The aforesaid demand is based upon the electricity bills which were raised against the petitioner.
Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel for the respondent nos.2,3 & 4 on instructions submits that against the disputed electricity bill, the objections of the petitioner were considered and decided on 20.11.2018 and the copy of the said order was sent to the petitioner by registered post. The objections have been decided and the bill has been corrected. In case the petitioner is still not satisfied, he can prefer an appeal against the said order before the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum in accordance with the provisions of 7.10 of the U.P. Electric Supply Code, 2005.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we direct the learned counsel for the respondents no.2,3 & 4 to supply a copy of the above referred order to the counsel for the petitioner which in fact has been supplied and we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the alternative forum as suggested above.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
