Petitioners have approached this Court with the grievance that though they were appointed as Collection Amin in 1979 and 1981 and were granted first promotional pay- scale in 1997, but thereafter benefit of second promotional pay-scale has been denied to them. Even though such amount became due and payable to them in terms of the applicable government order. It is submitted that repeated representations made in that regard have not been considered. It is also contended that on account of such reason, petitioners' pension has also not been correctly fixed.
Learned Standing Counsel states that the petitioners' grievance would be examined by the competent authority, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioners to represent their grievance before the respondent no. 2 alongwith a certified copy of this order, within three weeks from today. Petitioners shall be at liberty to annex all materials in support of their claim. The concerned authority shall accord consideration to the petitioners' claim, noticed above, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
