Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(1) A writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent no. 1 to decide Case No. D2016143600320 of 2016, under section 28 of L.R. Act, Ram Ajor versus Gaon Sabha, within stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The grievance of the petitioner is that his application under Section 28 of the Land Revenue Act, filed in the year 2016 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1 to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
