Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Petitioner is before this Court with a request commanding the Commissioner, Aligarh Division, Aligarh to decide the Appeal No. C-201818000001167 of 2018 (Rakshpal Singh Vs. State of U.P. through Sub Divisional Magistrate Aligarh), under Section 13(1) U.P.Essential Commodities Distribution and Control Act 2016 expeditiously within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the aforementioned appeal is still pending and has not been decided, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously by the Authority concerned.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the Commissioner, Aligarh Division, Aligarh to decide petitioner's aforesaid appeal by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
