Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 and 6, Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 and Sri K. R. Singh, learned counsel for the respondent no. 7.
From the perusal of the averments made in this writ petition, it transpires that for the redressal of their grievances which have been raised by them in this writ petition, the petitioners have already filed a representation before the respondent no. 3 on 07.10.2017, copy whereof has been brought on record as Annexure No. 6 to the writ petition but no order has been passed by him on the aforesaid representation of the petitioner till date.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to consider and decide the petitioners' representation dated 07.10.2017 (Annexure No. 6 to the writ petition) pending before him strictly in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as other interested parties.
