Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Arunendra Kumar Singh, learned AGA for the State.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents authorities to close the history- sheet no.87A, opened against the petitioner in Police Station- Sarai Inayat, District-Prayagraj, which is pending consideration before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Prayagrj, respondent no.2.
In the facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 20.8.2021 in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within two months from the date of production of a copy of this order, without granting ay unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
