The petitioner has been served with the recovery citation dated 27.10.2018 for a sum of Rs. 3,78,600/- plus others.
The aforesaid dues are in respect of the Central Bank of India.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the entire dues provided some reasonable time is allowed for the payment. Learned counsel for the Bank is also interested in getting the aforesaid amount instead of pursing the method of recovery which is likely to take time.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petition is disposed of with the direction to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs. 78,600/- on or before 31st December 2018 and the balance amount of Rs. 3 lakhs in six installments of Rs. 50,000/- each payable on monthly basis starting 10th February 2019 and the last by 10th July 2019. The last installment shall include interest, if any, and other expenses. In the event of the default, the benefit of this order would come to an end and it will be open to the respondents to proceed with the recovery of the amount in accordance with law.
The petition is disposed of.
