Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"1. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar,Varanasi direct the respondent no.2 Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar Varanasi to decide/ dispose of the restoration application no.88 of 2018 (Ramesh Kumar Dubey Vs. State of U.P. and others) arising out of case No.5347 of 2018 (Computerized Case No.T20181414700105347) u/s 24 of Revenue Code pending since 05.04.2018 within stipulated period of time and adopting day to day proceeding."
It is stated that the restoration application filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since April 2018.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar,Varanasi to endeavour to decide the restoration application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
