Petitioner no.1 was married to respondent no.2. There appears to be a matrimonial discord, on account of which impugned proceedings under Charge Sheet No.206 of 2013 dated 3.12.2013 in case No.2102 of 2014, Crime No.2840 of 2013 under Section 498-A/323/504/506 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Ganga Ghat Unnao, pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Unnao, have been initiated.
Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that there is chance of settlement of dispute, in case dispute is refereed to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.
Issue notice to respondent no.2, Smt. Rama Bajpai, through Chief Judicial Magistrate, Unnao, returnable on 25.8.2014.
List on 25.8.2014.
Petitioners are directed to deposit a sum of Rs.7,000/-(Seven thousand only) with the Registry of this Court within ten days from today.
In case, respondent no.2 agrees to join mediation proceedings, Rs.5000/-(Five thousand only) would be released in favour of respondent no.2 and the remaining Rs.2000/-(Two thousand only) would be remitted in favour of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.
In case, deposit is made within ten days, as directed above, further proceedings before the trial court, shall remain stayed till the next date of listing.
Let the respondent no.2 and petitioner no.1 remain present in court on the next date of listing.
