JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 36
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 10532 of 2018 Petitioner :- Raksha Pal Singh Respondent :- State Of U P And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Suresh Chandra Kushwaha Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Mrs. Sunita Agarwal,J.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The present writ petition is directed against an order dated 8.4.2004 whereby the petitioner's engagement on temporary basis on the post of Lekhpal has been discontinued. The petitioner seeks to submit that he has moved a representation before the competent authority seeking reinstatement of the petitioner to the post of Lekhpal but there has been no consideration. Repeated reminders sent by the petitioner have not been considered by the competent authority and as such he has to approach this Court in the present writ petition.
The second prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to reinstate the petitioner on the post of Lekhpal.
Dealing with the said submission, suffice it to note that it is not possible for this Court to issue any writ in the nature of certiorari or of mandamus commanding the respondents for quashing of the order impugned after a period of 14 years and to issue any direction for reinstatement of the petitioner. Admittedly, the petitioner's services have been discontinued in view of the nature of his engagement by an order which does not entail civil consequences upon the petitioner.
Dismissed as such.
