The applicants are before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 2.2.2021 passed in Writ Petition No.12575 of 2020 (Rajvir Singh and others Vs. State of U.P. and others).
An affidavit of compliance was filed by Sri Abhishek Srivastava, on behalf of opposite party. It is stated in the affidavit of compliance that the order passed by the writ Court has already been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
This fact has not been denied by counsel for the applicants.
In this view of the matter, Court is of the opinion that the order passed by the writ Court has been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.
