Rajugiri vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|10 July, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The applicant has made this application for seeking furlough leave, but the jail remarks indicate that for 653 days he has absconded and was required to be nabbed and committed to custody, when he was granted furlough leave on earlier occasion. He has been committed to custody only on 13.05.2010 and he was granted furlough leave on 29.07.2008.
In view of this peculiar circumstances and the tendency evinced by the prisoner, this Court is of the view that furlough leave is rightly rejected. The application being bereft of merit, deserves rejection and is accordingly rejected. The prisoner be informed accordingly.
