JUDGMENT / ORDER

A.M.Shaffique, J. This writ petition is filed seeking police protection. The petitioner contends that he is a fisherman and he is residing along with his family. The allegation is that there is dispute with the party respondent in regard to construction of a road. The petitioner contends that the 5th respondent has threatened him and his family members, to cause injuries and loss of life. Though complaint was given to the police as Ext.P1, no action has been taken.
2. Perusal of the proceedings in the writ petition would disclose that there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Notice was ordered in the matter and the learned counsel for the 5th respondent submits that the 5th -2-
W.P.(C). No.33033 of 2014 respondent has not caused any threat as alleged by the petitioner.
3. Having regard to the nature and the contentions raised in the writ petition, we do not find that the averments call for an order to direct police protection. However, we only observe that if there is any offence committed by any person it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the police.
This Writ Petition is closed accordingly.
