2. On the private complaint of the petitioner in CC Sr No.5012 of 2014, learned III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, on 30.09.2014 directed respondent No.3 to register the complaint and investigate and file a report. Petitioner alleges that in spite of the said direction, respondent No.3 has not registered any crime nor has investigated the complaint.
3. While notice in this writ petition was taken by the learned government pleader on 18.12.2014, it appears that crime was registered by respondent No.3 being crime No.1510 of 2014 only on 19.12.2014 and the investigation is taken up.
4. Apparently, respondent No.3 has taken his own time in registering the F.I.R. in spite of directions of the learned III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. However, since the crime is already registered and is taken up for investigation, it is appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.3 to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file appropriate report before the jurisdictional court.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
