The petitioner has approached this Court with the following main prayers:
"(a). A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opposite party no.1 to consider, promotion upon the post of Deputy Collector against the vacancy of 2014-15 after opening sealed cover along with promotion of promotion order dated 3.8.2015 Annexure No.3.
(b). A writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the opposite party no.1 to decide petitioner's pending representation 3.12.2018 annexure no.6, representation 3.7.2019 annexure no.7 and representation dated 2.12.2020 annexure no.8 in accordance with law and thereafter fix petitioner seniority."
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has made an innocuous prayer that the petitioner may be given liberty to represent his case before the competent authority.
Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State no objection to the innocuous prayer made by petitioner.
Without entering into the merits of the case and after considering the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to move a fresh detailed representation along with a copy of this order before the Principal Secretary, Appointment, Civil Secretariat, Lucknow (opposite party no.1) within ten days from today, who shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the said representation.
With the aforesaid directions, the instant petition is disposed of.
