Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Ms Afshan Shafat, learned counsel for the private respondent and the learned AGA for the State respondent.
Ms Afshan Shafat has intimated that this is the second Habeas Corpus petition filed by the petitioner. She has referred the annexure no. 6 to the petition, which is the order dated 14.12.2009 passed in the Habeas Corpus Petition No. 35902 of 2009 whereby the statement of the corpus was recorded and thereafter she went with her parents, as per her own wish.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has received a letter, allegedly written by the corpus, sent through Sri Deepak Sonkar, a friend of petitioner no. 2, stating that she is being illegally detained by her parents and is being illtreated by them.
As prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, put up this case on 25.01.2010 to enable him to supply the address of Sri Deepak Sonkar, through whom the alleged letter has been sent to the petitioner no. 2 Learned AGA may also verify the averments made by petitioner no. 1 in the aforesaid letter.
Copy of this order may be given to the learned AGA today for necessary compliance.
