JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 2

Hon'ble Suneet Kumar,J.
Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
Learned standing counsel has received instructions and submits that the claim of the petitioner for promotion from the post of Constable to Head Constable in the police station cannot be considered at this stage for the reason that petitioner has earned three censure entries towards punishment, two entries in 2009 and one entry in 2016. Case of the petition is not covered under the Govt. Order dated 30 June 1993.
On being confronted, learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to show from the Govt. Order/Circular/Rule that the petitioner can be considered for promotion at this stage in the backdrop of adverse entries.
In view thereof, writ petition is dismissed.
