This petition has been filed for a direction upon respondents to release withheld retiral benefits including gratuity.
Petitioner's husband was employed in Nagar Palika Parishad, Basti and died on 07.08.2018. Grievance is with regard to non- release of gratuity and arrears of pension to petitioner. Prayer is also made for release of amount towards leave encashment.
Learned counsel for the respondent Nagar Palika Parishad states that all withheld dues would be released to petitioner within three months.
In view of the stand taken on behalf of the respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.3 to ensure that all withheld retiral dues are released to petitioner within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
