The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No. 671 of 1998 within a short span of time.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the defendants are seeking regular adjournments.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
