This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.400/2014 pending before the Family Court, Kozhikode transferred to Family Court, Tirur for trial and disposal. 2. Suffice to say that, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and proceedings were instituted as O.P.No.400/2014 before the Family Court, Kozhikode by the respondent.
3. The petitioner points out that she has a minor child to look after and also that her father is not keeping good health and she is therefore unable to go to Family Court, Kozhikode on every posting dates of the case and she prays that the matter may be transferred to Family Court, Tirur so as to enable her to effectively contest the matter.

4. Notice was served on the respondent. There is no appearance for the respondent and the petition is not opposed.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is felt that it is only appropriate that the relief be granted to the petitioner.
In the result, this petition is allowed. O.P.No.400/2014 pending before the Family Court, Kozhikode shall stand transferred to Family Court, Tirur for trial and disposal.
