JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE S.MANIKUMAR and THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE M.GOVINDARAJ H.C.P.No.1841 of 2016 Rajeswari .. Petitioner Vs.
1. State of Tamil Nadu, Rep.by the Secretary Home, Prohibition and Excise Department, Fort St.George, Chennai-600009.
2. The District Collector and District Magistrate, Vellore District, Office of Collectorate, Vellore District. .. Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No. C3.D.O.No.45/2016, dated 29.07.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioners husband Thiru.Puttan @ Sankar S/o.Ponnusamy aged about 45 years the detenue, now confined in Central Prison, Vellore before this Hon'ble Court and set the petitioners husband Thiru.Puttan @ Sankar S/o.Ponnusamy aged about 45 years the detenue herein at liberty.

Habeas corpus petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed by the second respondent against the detenue – Thiru.Puttan @ Sankar S/o.Ponnusamy in Memo No. C3.D.O.No.45/2016, dated 29.07.2016.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the impugned order of detention has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4680, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 28.09.2016. Copy of the said Government Order, submitted to this Court, shall form part of the record.
3. Recording the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
