The husband has filed O.P.(HM) No. 18/2014 on the file of the Family Court of Kattappana for divorce. The wife has no parental home and resides with her sister at Thiruvananthapuram. The husband is conducting a business at Idukki.
2. It is a virtual impossibility for the wife to travel all the way from Thiruvananthapuram to Kattappana for the conduct of the case. It may only be a slight inconvenience for the husband to travel from Idukki to Thiruvananthapuram for the purpose. Moreover the husband has not chosen to enter appearance and oppose the prayer for transfer made by the wife.
3. I therefore order transfer of O.P.(HM) No. 18/2014 from the Family Court, Kattappana to the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram. The Transferee Court shall issue notice to the parties and take the proceedings to a logical end soon.
The Transfer Petition is allowed.
