O R D E R Petitioner Smt. Rajeshwari M and her counsel Sri. Sharath Gowda G.B., respondent No.2 Smt. Anusha and her counsel Sri. Dinesh Hegde H.L. are present.
On behalf of respondent No.1, learned SPP-II Sri. I.S. Pramod Chandra is present.
2. Petitioner and respondent No.2 have presented a compromise petition duly signed by them and their respective counsels, whereunder, respondent No.2 has withdrawn all the allegations made against the petitioner leading to the registration of the case against her for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 506(B) of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
3. Petitioner and respondent No.2 submit that they have voluntarily entered into the aforesaid compromise and in terms of the said compromise, respondent No.2 request the Court to quash the proceedings initiated against the petitioner.
4. The parties are duly identified by their respective counsels. It is ascertained that the compromise is voluntarily and freely entered between the parties and the same is in their interest and welfare. Hence, having regard to the nature of the allegations made against the petitioner and in view of the unconditional withdrawal of the said allegations by respondent No.2, the compromise petition is allowed. The parties are permitted to compound the above offences.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed. The proceedings pending against the petitioner in C.C.No.9984/2013 on the file of II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru are hereby quashed.
