Petitioners apprehend arrest in Crime No.1260 of 2013 of the Mattannur Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 308 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code and have filed the application. 2. Heard the learned Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel.
3. Learned counsel submits that the matter is being settled between the parties.
4. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that the attack is due to political enmity and Crime No.1259 of 2013 is also registered by the police.
5. Request of the petitioners for pre-arrest bail was rejected on merit as per order in B.A. No.768 of 2014. I Bail Appl.No. 2758 of 2014 () 2 do not find any change in circumstances.
6. Learned counsel submitted that the petitioners may be permitted to surrender before the investigating officer.
7. Let the petitioners surrender before the investigating officer on 26.06.2014 at 10 a.m. and on other dates as directed by him in case interrogation is not completed. In case the petitioners are arrested, they shall be produced before the Jurisdictional magistrate as early as possible.
The application is disposed of as above.
