Rajendra Singh Yadav vs State Of U P And Another

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|28 October, 2021
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 32
Case :- WRIT - C No. - 28231 of 2021 Petitioner :- Rajendra Singh Yadav Respondent :- State Of U P And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Manoj Kumar Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
This writ petition is directed against the suspension order as well as show cause notice dated 07.04.2021 whereby the firearm license of the petitioner was kept under suspension and notice was issued requiring the petitioner to submit his reply on 21.04.2021.
As the petitioner has approached this Court challenging the suspension order the writ petition, however, is not maintainable but during the course of argument learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly submitted that he is ready to approach the licensing authority by filing reply, if time is granted by this Court.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending and, as such, this Court directs the petitioner to file reply pursuant to the show cause notice dated 07.04.2021 before the licensing authority within fifteen days from today, thereafter, the licensing authority shall consider the same, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, preferably within a period of next three months from the date of receipt of reply alongwith a copy of this order, downloaded from the official website of the High Court.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
Order Date :- 28.10.2021 Shekhar
