Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari calling for the records of the case and quashing impugned F.I.R. dated 11.05.2017, registered as Case Crime no. 0253 of 2017, lodged by respondent no. 4, under Sections 498A, 302 of IPC and Sections 3, 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Police Station- Barsathi, District- Jaunpur. (Annexure No. 01 to this Writ Petition)."
Mr. Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that a Charge Sheet bearing No. 36 of 2018 dated 9 March 2018 has already been filed, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. It is, however, open to the petitioners to take appropriate remedy, if they so desire and are advised, for appropriate relief.
