Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :-
"A. To, issue a writ order or direction in the nature of the mandamus commanding the respondent no.2, to decide the case of the petitioner numbered as L.A.R. No.01/2015 (Rajendra Singh Versus State of U.P. and others) pending before him, expeditiously, as-soon-as possible earlier or within the period fixed by this Hon'ble Court for the same.
B. To, issue any other order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
C. To, award the cost of the petition."
We have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material brought on record including the certified copy of the order sheet of L.A.R. 01/2015 (Rajendra Singh Vs. State of U.P. and others) copy whereof has been filed as Annexure 7 to the writ petition.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits, we dispose of the writ petition with the direction to respondent no.4 to make every possible endeavour to decide L.A.R. No.01/2015 (Rajendra Singh Versus State of U.P. and others) as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
