Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the Consolidation Officer, ( Final Record) Kannauj to decide the restoration/recall application dated 8.3.2013 passed in Consolidated Case nos.2595-2596 (Ranveer Singh & Ors Vs. Nawab Singh and Ors.) within stipulated time.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that against the ex-parte order dated 4.3.1983 the recall application was filed on 8.3.2003 but the same has not been decided.
In these circumstances, a direction is issued to the (respondent no. 3) Consolidation Officer, ( Final Record) Kannauj to decide the restoration/recall application dated 8.3.2013 passed in Consolidated Case nos.2595-2596 (Ranveer Singh & Ors Vs. Nawab Singh and Ors.) in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of four months from the date of a production of certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.
