Petitioner was initially appointed as Chowkidar and his services were regularized on 23.1.2007 and thereafter he has been promoted on the post of Marketing Assistant and has retired as such on 30.6.2019. It is stated that retiral benefits to which petitioner is entitled have not been released to him till date. Prayer is made to command the respondents to release retiral benefits which are due and payable to petitioner.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent, in accordance with law, at the first instance.
In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.3 by making a representation in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, annexing all materials in support of his claim, within a period of three weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a further period of two months thereafter. All consequential action shall be taken accordingly.
