Heard Sri Atmaram Nadiwal, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri P.K. Rai, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent corporation and perused the record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has raised certain grievances against the allotment of dealership of retail outlet to the respondent no. 3. However, the same has not been looked into. He has drawn out attention to his application dated 4.11.2019 received in the department, i.e., Indian Oil Corporation on 5th of November, 2019 which has also been sent by the registered post to various authorities.
However, on a pointed query being made to learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether he has complied with the provisions as contained in Clause-18 of the brochure for depositing Rs. 5,000/- as required for purposes of examination of the complaint, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted some time to deposit the same.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in case, if the petitioner deposit Rs. 5,000/- as per Clause-18 of the brochure within two weeks from today, his complaint dated 4th of November, 2019 already received in the office of Deputy General Manager, Regional Office, Varanasi, shall be looked into and disposed of before finalization of the retail outlet allotment.
However, in case he fails to deposit the requisite fee as directed hereinabove, the department may not proceed with complaint any further.
