Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ of mandamus directing the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur, i.e., respondent No. 1 to decide the Revision No. 1418 of 2017-18 (Rajendra Prasad Vs. Gram Sabha, Palahamau and others) filed under Section 48(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
Without expressing any opinion into the merits of the case, the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur, i.e., respondent No. 1 is directed to decide the aforesaid revision within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him after hearing the concerned parties in case there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid revision.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
