The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuance of a direction to the trial Court where Original Suit No. 98/2014, is pending, to decide the same, expeditiously, within a stipulated time.
The petitioner is defendant in the said suit. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the plaintiff is delaying the disposal of the proceedings by seeking unnecessary adjournments.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial Court to make all endeavour to decide the suit, expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments.
