1. The only relief sought in this writ petition is that a mandamus be issued to District Magistrate, Kaushambi, to make inquiry against former Pradhan, respondent-5.
2. Despite repeated query, learned counsel for petitioner could not show any provision under which such an inquiry can be directed to be made by District Magistrate.
3. Moreover, if there is any complaint against respondent-5 relating to misappropriation of funds etc., it is always open to petitioner to initiate criminal proceedings against him.
4. The writ petition is thoroughly misconceived. Dismissed.
