Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the claim of the petitioner for interest on the delayed disbursal of retiral dues shall be duly attended to and disposed of by the said respondent bearing in mind the principles enunciated by a learned Judge of this Court in Yogendra Singh and others v. State of U.P. and others [Writ-A No. 23639 of 2016, decided on 20.05.2016] with expedition and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
