Heard Shri Imtiyaj Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel appearing for the State-respondents.
By means of the instant petition, petitioner, inter alia, seeks the following relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction including a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3 to declare the result of the selection held on 13.10.2006 on the post of Peon in the office of Deputy Director of Consolidation, Chitrakoot, District Chitrakoot, in pursuance of the Advertisement No. 477/Group 'D' dated 21.08.2006 published on 23.08.2006 and issue an appointment order to the selected candidates as per the order of merit given in the select list."
Learned counsel for the parties at the out set submit that the controversy involved in the instant petition is squarely covered by the judgment and order dated 14 February 2019 passed in Writ-A No. 65378 of 2009 (Jaipal Singh vs. State of U.P. and another).
In view thereof, writ petition is allowed in terms of the judgment/order dated 14 February 2019 passed in Writ-A No. 65378 of 2009 (Jaipal Singh vs. State of U.P. and another.
Respondents to declare the result and proceed thereafter.
