Rajeev Shrijaskaransinh Yadav vs State Of

High Court Of Gujarat|26 December, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Learned advocate Mr. G.P. Baghel requests that the present application may be posted after winter vacation. The request is accepted. The present application is ordered to be posted on board on 21.01.2013.
It is noticed from the record of the present application that the Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal No. 1552 of 2011 passed the following order, while rejecting the bail application of the applicant,
1. Leave granted.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By the impugned order, the High Court refused to suspend the sentence of the appellant.
The appellant has filed the present appeal for grant of bail. We are not inclined to grant bail to the appellant. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed. However, the High Court is requested to decide the appeal of the appellant within one year from the date of communication of the order.
Having regard to the observations of the Honourable Supreme Court, the Registry shall also fix the main Criminal Appeal for final hearing in the week beginning 21.01.2013.
