Petitioner claims to be working as Seasonal Collection Peon since 1995. It appears that in terms of provisions contained in U.P. Collection Peon Service Rules, 2004, petitioner's claim has not been considered for regularization. It is also stated that petitioner is handicapped and three posts are reserved for handicapped persons and under such quota petitioner's claim can be considered for regularization. A prayer is, therefore, made to direct the authorities to consider petitioner's claim for regularization.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's claim shall be examined, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim for regularization and appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
