The sole relief claimed in the instant petition is for issuing a direction to the Prescribed Authority, before which Release Case No. 15/2012 is pending, to decide the same, within a specified time frame.
The proceedings in question are under Section 21(1)(b) of U.P. Act No. 13 of 1972. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the parties were heard and judgment was reserved, but it was not delivered as the Steno had not typed the order. The Court had, therefore, fixed the case for fresh hearing.
Having regard to the above facts, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the Prescribed Authority to decide the matter positively within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
