Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief -
"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 to decide the restoration application dated 29.09.2012, Rajesh and others Versus Faujdar and others, in Appeal No.445 of 2011 under Section 11(1) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, Rajesh and others Versus Faujdar and others, within stipulated period.
It has been submitted that the restoration application filed in the year 2011 has not been disposed of till date.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1, the Settlement Officer Consolidation, Ghazipur to decide the restoration application of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order before him.
