Heard Ms. Tanisha Jahangir Monir, learned counsel for the appellant and Sri Pranav Ganguli, learned counsel for the State-respondents.
The limited relief pressed before us by the learned counsel for the appellant is for fixing a time frame and directing the respondents-authority to decide the representation for which liberty has been given by the learned Single Judge.
The submission appears to be reasonable.
We, accordingly, dispose of this appeal without interfering with the order of the learned Single Judge only providing that in case the representation has already been filed by the appellant pursuant to the order passed by the learned Single Judge or any fresh representation that may be given along with certified copy of this order before the competent authority, may be decided in accordance with law within a period of 4 weeks from the date of submission of certified copy of this order. To the aforesaid extent only the order of the learned Single Judge has been modified.
