The sole relief claimed in the instant petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution is for issuing a direction to the Prescribed Authority before whom Rent Case No. 1/2017 under Section 21(1) (a) of U.P. Act No. 13 of 1972 is pending, to decide the same within a specified time.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the opposite party has already entered appearance in the said proceedings.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the Prescribed Authority to make all endeavour to decide the release application, expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments.
