1. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus commanding respondents to provide security (gunner) to petitioner for safety and security of the life of petitioner and his family members and to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2018 and 05.03.2019 within a stipulated period.
3. Learned Standing Counsel states that in case no final decision has been taken on petitioner's representation, the same shall be taken expeditiously.
4. In view of aforesaid, without expressing any opinion on merits, we dispose of writ petition directing authority concerned/Committee to pass an appropriate order on petitioner's representation expeditiously and in any case, within two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
