JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 47
Case :- CRIMINAL MISC. WRIT PETITION No. - 23193 of 2019 Petitioner :- Rajesh Kumar Seth Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Vinay Kumar Singh,Ajay Kumar Singh Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- G.A.
Hon'ble Manoj Misra,J.
Hon'ble Virendra Kumar Srivastava,J.
This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents not to harass and interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioner.
On 01.11.2019, the learned A.G.A. was required to seek instructions in the matter.
On 19.11.2019, counter-affidavit was filed. In the counter-affidavit it was stated that in order to maintain the criminal dozier of criminals of district Jaunpur, a verification exercise is being carried out by the police with the aid of the concerned police station in pursuance of the orders of the Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur. In paragraph 4, it has been stated that the petitioner had been earlier arrested in Case Crime No. 988 of 2011, under Sections 395, 397 I.P.C. concerning P.S. Line Bazar, District Jaunpur and he had also been challaned under Section 110-G Cr.P.C. at P.S. Kotwali, District Jaunpur.
In paragraph 6 of the counter-affidavit, it has been stated that there has been a 'Trinetra App' wherein the accused who are involved in cases of robbery and dacoity, are monitored after taking requisite information to ensure that criminal activity is kept under control. It has been stated in the affidavit that in connection with Case Crime No. 548 of 2019 registered under Sections 395, 397 I.P.C. at P.S. Line Bazar, District Jaunpur, the police had visited the house of the petitioner.
Sri Neeraj Kant Verma has passed on a copy of 'Trinetra App' in a sealed cover for perusal of the Court so as to demonstrate that it is an App which has been devised for the purposes of controlling crime.
On 19.11.2019, we had required the learned counsel for the petitioner to file rejoinder-affidavit, if any.
No rejoinder-affidavit has been filed till date.
Considering the averments made in the counter-affidavit which is suggestive of the fact that there has been no harassment of the petitioner in particular but only his house had been visited on account of his past involvement, we do not find any good reason to issue any specific direction upon the police authorities.
The petition stands disposed off.
The documents relating to 'Trinetra App' produced before the Court in a sealed cover has been returned back to Sri Neeraj Kant Verma, learned A.G.A.
