JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the order of this court made in W.P(MD)No.20126 of 2016, dated 19.10.2016.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that except interest on commutation, other benefits have been paid to the petitioner.
3.In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to pay interest on commutation, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the order copy. In the event of non-compliance, liberty is given to the petitioner to revive the contempt. No costs.
