1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married out of their own sweet will.
3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will and got their marriage registered on 29.8.2017 from the office of the Registrar, Hindu Marriages. A copy of the Marriage Certificate has been filed as Annexure-3 to the petition. Since the petitioners have married against their parents wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. Hence this writ petition.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S- Sarvan, District Kannauj, who shall extend all help and protection to them under the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
