Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.2101/2014 of Kayamkulam Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Section 22(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that on 2.8.2014 at 3.00 p.m., he was found in possession of 5 ampoules of Buprenorphin.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor. The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the petition and has pointed out that there are 4 other similar cases pending against the petitioner. Considering the seriousness of the B.A. No.7417 of 2014 2 allegation against the petitioner and similar criminal antecedents on his part, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to be enlarged on bail.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
