JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.E.Raja, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent of both sides, the Crl.O.P., itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. Petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to file a final report regarding Crime No.6 of 2015 within a stipulated time.

3. According to the petitioner, First Information Report was filed in the year 2015 and the respondent is delaying the matter without filing the final report. However, on the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepting notice for the respondents states that they are in the final stage of filing final report and sanction from the appropriate authorities is awaited.
4. In view of the above said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this court is of the view that it will be sufficient to grant the second respondent two months time to file the final report. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.6 of 2015, and file final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
