JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 3
Case :- WRIT - C No. - 25071 of 2020 Petitioner :- Raja Ram Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajeshwar Prasad Sinha Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Manoj Misra,J. Hon'ble Ravi Nath Tilhari,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents 1 to 3; and perused the record.
The grievance of the petitioner is that taking recourse to the provision of the Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the Rules framed thereunder and an application has been filed by the petitioner against his own sons (respondent nos. 5 and 6) on which no decision has yet been taken by the second respondent.
This petition is, therefore, filed for a direction upon the second respondent to take appropriate decision.
Considering the nature of the prayer made and the order we propose to pass, we do not consider it necessary to invite counter-affidavit from the respondents.
This petition is disposed off by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a comprehensive representation, annexing therewith copy of the previous application filed by him, before the second respondent. If any such representation along with copy of this order is filed before the second respondent, within two weeks from today, the same shall be addressed and decided, preferably, within next six weeks, in accordance with law and after giving opportunity of hearing to the respondents 5 and 6.
